"Breakout" by Rob E C (Electronic Artist from Los Angeles, California(CA))

"Breakout" the latest released CD from the talented artist Rob E C, is overflowing with upbeat and danceable electronic pop music. You'll be hooked right from the start as the first track, "Sea of Love" is infused with vocals that ring with strong and solid clarity while the synth hits adds the finishing touches. The industrial pulses on "Since You've Gone" invigorates while the silky vocals lure the listener to the melodic lyrics. Another distinctive treasure is the outstanding rendition of "Right Here Waiting" originally recorded by Richard Marx. The tempo takes a faster spin as the drums engage a brighter tempo while the synth sounds employ the melodic riff of the chorus. First rate production as the sound quality is nicely balanced between the well sung vocals and synth instruments. Fans of Lady Ga Ga or Depeche Mode will thoroughly enjoy the pulsating and danceable music of "Breakout."

"Blue Skies & Black Shoes" by Jason King Band (Blues Artist from Nevada(NV))

The latest album from the Jason King Band is "Blue Skies & Black Shoes." It is a superb compilation of bouncy and soulful contemporary Blues/Rock songs. "I'm Your Man" is a song with a frolicking blues sound that might just get you up and dancing. "Mean & Nasty" is a groovier and thicker blues song which features some amazingly passionate saxophone playing. "6 years gone" is a more leisurely and thoughtful blues song in which we can hear the talent within both King's voice and acoustic guitar playing. This album is a wonderful example of contemporary Blues/Rock music and contains a balance between heartfelt and playfully rambunctious tunes. If you are a fan of the Blues music of Stevie Ray Vaughan then you will enjoy "Blue Skies & Black Shoes" by the Jason King Band.

"Ghost Ranch" by Jeanne Kuhns (Folk Artist from Wisconsin(WI))

Singer/songwriter Jeanne Kuhns and her CD "Ghost Ranch" is an outstanding collection of folk/rock songs that centers on her sensual and soothing voice. The song, "Greyhound," is a smooth sounding folk number, with just a hint of the blues, while also featuring beautiful saxophone and cello highlights. "Halfway To Heaven" is a song in which Kuhns' vocals get a little more emphatic in a tune that shows her edgier side. "Wise Women" is a slower paced piece in which Kuhns tunefully reminisces about her mother and the advice she gave her. This album is great for those who appreciate folk music and a vocalist who projects her voice with a dynamic range and heartfelt spirit. "Silent Words" by Thomas Frykberg (Jazz Artist from Sweden)

"Silent Words" by the highly talented artist Thomas Frykberg is an easy listening and elevating Jazz crossover album. Frykberg takes an open-ended approach on the genre with various melodic melodies and the experimentation of different types of percussion to accompany the traditional drum set. "Doniazade" is a very exotic and quintessential jazz track as it employs an interesting melody on the saxophone combined with other inspired timbres and chimes. This track also shows the artist's ability to adapt to changing and various styles all the while keeping it fresh and innovating. Another song, "Celebration Nr 2," is extremely interesting in that the track is played in a classic Jazz style as the sax deftly plays the melody while the subtle African style percussive beats play with fascinating tonality. Frykberg is superb as he incorporates the genre of smooth Jazz with many colorful flavors and textures and the listener is able to get a musical taste of the international world through this album. If you like Jazz music with smooth and relaxed vibes, then "Silent Words" is an album you will thoroughly enjoy.

"From Bach Till Dawn" by Dominik Baumgartner (Classical Artist from Switzerland)

Dominik Baumgartner's latest release album is "From Bach Till Dawn." In this album Baumgartner has created an exceptionally choice collection of Baroque era classical music that is created through a virtual orchestra enhanced by sophisticated computer generated software. The song, "Hänsel und Gretel – A Fairy Tale Opera: Act II - "Introduction: The Witches' Ride," is well orchestrated as the woodwinds and flittering brass section perform with a dynamic intensity. For the "Brandenburg Concerto No. 3 in G Major, BWV 1048: III. Presto" we find ourselves confronted with an intensely swirling interplay between the strings as a brilliant counterpoint precision runs with powerful and exquisite tonality. The sound textures within the song, "Choral: The Old Forest," is replete with stirring choir like voices and violins that are dark, brooding, and emotive which gives this song a haunting sense of mystery. This album is one in which Baumgartner has embraced the musical world using the aid of a computer and this is no easy feat to accomplish as each song is well produced and well balanced with high quality sound textures. This album is perfect for those who already enjoy Bach, as it is a refreshing new look at Baroque music but isn't a break away from what makes the music so powerfully special to begin with.

"Crash Landing" by Zallen (Adult Rock Artist from Los Angeles, California(CA))

The talented multi-instrumentalist Zallen, has put together a terrific collection of quasi-psychedelic pop/rock on his latest released album, "Crash Landing," that harks back to the days of classic rock, yet still retains a unique voice. "Mission To the Moon" is a fun number with enjoyable lyrics, solid lead vocals, a galloping rhythm, and vivacious drums and guitars. In "Out of Phase" we find more of an antiquated rock and roll beat replete with fiery piano chords and great guitar riffs which compliment Zallen's vocal prowess. "The Last September" is a sharp flowing rock song in which we hear how Zallen's voice delivers strong and melodic tonality. This album is for those who appreciate classic rock music with progressive modern touches and psychedelic expression. It is well produced and each arrangement has a nice dynamic balance between vocals and instruments. "The Easy Leaves" by The Easy Leaves (Country Artist from California(CA))

The Easy Leaves serve up some well crafted songs on their new self-titled album, "The Easy Leaves." This is a record comprised of bluegrass, honky-tonk, and country songs all composed with a vibrant, fresh, and original tonality. Starting off the album the song, "Neon Sign," is an old-fashioned toe-tapping song, in which guitar, harmonica, and well harmonized vocals all help to spin this colorful melody. Another song, "Lines of Stone & Dust" is a gentle and slow moving song that is steeped with emotive vocals and laid back acoustic guitar chords. "Dance With me Katie" is a catchy and fun musical number that will get you off your feet in no time as it has charming lyrics that swirl around the vibrant and upbeat rhythm. This album is perfect for those who appreciate talented traditional country/bluegrass music that is fresh and original. "Mangoes, Musical Shorts, Vol. 1" by Jeremy Moyer (World Artist from Ontario, Canada)

The soothing tones and inviting melodies of multi-instrumentalist Jeremy Moyer's fine CD, "Mangoes, Musical Shorts, Vol. 1," adds up to a thoroughly enjoyable World Fusion listening experience. Making the intricate fretwork on various instruments sound effortless, Moyer's skills are front and center, both as a musician and as a composer. The peaceful, lulling track, "Bedtime Stories," utilizes the aforementioned string instruments to their maximum potential; the melody is that of a familiar lullaby, but unique twists are added that make this rendition truly singular. "Worker's Theme Song," with its expressive percussion, adds a rhythmic element to the album, while the Brazilian feel of "El Chino Guapo" showcases yet a different side of Moyer's musical reach. For World Music that's exciting and different, but not daunting, Jeremy Moyer's "Mangoes, Musical Shorts, Vol. 1" is a great choice.

"Nashville Tracks" by Jim Wise (Country Artist from Las Vegas, Nevada(NV))

Highly talented Country musician, Jim Wise, and his latest release "Nashville Tracks" is an album recorded in the traditional country/rock style and is loaded with a substantial 17 tracks. The song, "Tearing Me Apart," is a slow country tune in which Wise pours out his heart into the microphone as the piano and acoustic guitar interplay with his heartfelt lyrics. "You Loved The Hell Out Of Me" is a fun loving honky-tonk piece, with just a hint of bluegrass due to the addition of a fiddle, in which Wise reminisces about an interesting past relationship. Wise also rocks out on the song, "Good Girls Go To Heaven," in a jubilant and louder country rock song that reminds one of a combination of ZZ Top and Lyle Lovett. "Nashville Tracks" is an album that is well produced and has dynamic balance. It is a great mix of straight up classic country music songs. "Threshold" is the latest record from the highly acclaimed recording artist Sugar Blue. It is a record comprised of songs that fuse Rock, Funk, Jazz, and Blues all around Sugar's Grammy-winning harmonica playing and features a cast of highly professional musicians. The track, "Messin' with the kid," is a classic Blues tune with a little bit of exhilaration thrown in and features some gritty and soulful harmonica playing from Sugar. "Noel news" is a funky piece, played with a little bit of Creole influence, that celebrates what Christmas is like down in the crescent city of New Orleans. "Don't call me" is more of a tranquil jazz song in which Sugar lets his harmonica playing be a soulful backup to his vocals as he emotionally croons to the one he loves. This album is one that celebrates and mixes the roots of music that has helped shape the culture in America. Whether you want to dance or be musically inspired, this album will do it for you. "Crazy to Sane" by Lynette Louise

"Crazy to Sane" by Lynette Louise is an entertaining CD that is intended to raise awareness of autism. Through this CD, Lynette uses autobiographical vignettes with soft background chanting, and strong songs to bring attention to this mental health issue. This CD set includes a first CD of songs and spoken vignettes, and a second CD that only includes the songs of the first CD. Lynette is not afraid to tastefully use humor on the CD to help raise awareness of this serious mental health issue. Lynette introduces a number of humorous characters on the CD. The songs on the CD are a mix of adult rock tracks that include a professionally-mixed full sound, as well as more theatrically-styled humorous songs. The lyrics, whether spoken in the vignettes or sung on the musical tracks, are cleverly themed around autism and the possibility of turning a serious mental health issue into a positive life-changing experience. For example, the title track includes an emotional and screaming chorus that has an effective dynamic change from the rest of the track that will grab your attention. "Maniac Braniac" is one of our favorite tracks on the CD, with a catchy chorus and insightful, clever lyrics. It is a more mainstream-styled adult rock track, with an effective full rock band mix. Lynette's emotional vocals are especially effective on this track. "Unfinished" is another noteworthy track, with nice electric guitar riffs above a powerful bass line, and a strong chorus. The music is especially tight on this track. Take some time out of your day to be entertained by this CD, and to learn about Lynette's journey through life with autism.

'The Legacy of Hip-Hop & Reggaeton" by Big-J (Hip-Hop Artist from New York City, New York(NY))

"The Legacy of Hip-Hop & Reggaeton," the new CD by rapper Big-J, offers a full repertoire of hip-hop and reggaeton sounds, plus various fusions of both genres with other Latin styles (like salsa). With nineteen original tracks, Big-J gives the listener a taste of what real hip-hop - reminiscent of ODB and Bone Thugs and Harmony, truly is. The opening track, "God Show Me Mercy," speaks of the artist's passion for hip-hop and its effect on his life. The beat is solid and the rhymes are fresh and "in your face." It's the epitome of the concept of the album itself. "Fuego" is a fiery Spanglish reggaeton/hip-hop fusion track which is all about dancing; and given the rhythmic detail and catchy lyrics, it'll definitely get the body movin'. Without giving too much away and ruining the excitement of Big-J's CD, the listener needs to make sure they listen to the album in its entirety; especially the last track.

"Pick Your Face Up Off The Floor : The Remixes" by Farrad (Pop Artist from New York City, New York(NY))

"Pick Your Face Up Off The Floor : The Remixes" by electronic/funk artist Farrad, is a collection of 12 unique dance remixes of the title song, and includes the bonus track, "Praise 2 The DJ." Although the album primarily fits into the dance or techno genre, the influence of 80's rock and pop as well as hip-hop and R&B are a part of the mix. The tracks move from steady beats to ecstatic ones to slower ones, but all charge the listener to get up and dance their heart out. The "Ron Kurti Remix" is particularly unique in that it has the bass line of good Detroit house, but also features the mesmerizing influence of DJ Tiesto which, when brought together, makes for a high energy dance track - for all of six minutes. On the "JJ Appleton Remix," a funky discotheque theme is more prevalent. The mood is bubbly on this track while the bass line remains thumping. This album is a stepping stone for this artist and listeners of the dance genre should keep an eye on him as his music is sure to grow in popularity in the new year.

"Illusions of Control" by Aerial View (Rock Artist from California(CA))

The second released album from the talented group Aerial View is "Illusions of Control." It is an album recorded in the Rock styles of the 80's and early 90's. The song, "All You Need," is a throbbing rock song with scathing guitar solos and dynamic vocals. Another song, "Doubt," has catchy lyrics and vocal patterns that are combined with dancing guitar sounds to make for a toe-tapping rock song. With the track "Kapygna," they release their aggressive side on this song that almost sounds like the music of Rush as the tight chemistry of the guitar, bass, and drums runs full throttle with a hard rock style fury. This album is one in which a band successfully harks back to that time when rock was between classic rock and the alternative movement. For those who enjoy the music of Rush, Tool, or similar bands, "Illusions of Control" is an album you will want to check out.

"Season's Greetings" by Manjia Luo (Easy Listening Artist from Australia)

Manjia Luo's latest release is a holiday-themed album called "Season's Greetings." However, it is not an album filled with your traditional Christmas songs. Instead, it contains a mix of original pieces that express holiday cheer through a tranquil mixing of Western and Eastern sounds. "Seasons's Greetings" is a placid and calming song with beautiful harp playing that comes off as a holiday number, even though it is not one you would have known before. "Tranquil Mood" is a wonderful piano piece featuring playing that evokes the full range of the instrument. "Back to Childhood" is a song that mixes Eastern and Western influences in its use of violin, beautifully telling a wordless story through melody alone. Manjia Luo's "Season's Greetings" explores the quieter and more peaceful side of holiday-inspired music with grace and delicacy. It's perfect for those who enjoy new-age relaxation music, or for those who would like excellent background music for a warm winter's get-together.

"B2" by Experience Deluxe (Electronic Artist from Germany)

Experience Deluxe's latest CD is known as "B2." It is an album which consists of music that could best be described as electronic lounge music, as it is mostly vocal-less, electronic music aimed at creating a variety of moods for the listener. "Clean da House" is a swiftly paced, bass-led jam in which other instruments fade in and out, adding subtle complexity; it's a song that truly would be great to listen to while you clean your house. "Rum Around?" is an edgy track with a sci-fi sound and a driving rhythm. "Sunset Breeze" is a more tranquil number with a subdued beat and calming background embellishments. "B2" is a CD for those who appreciate music's ability to transport one's mind to places the body cannot go, or for those who like to have distinctive and relatively energetic lounge music for when they entertain or need background music. So let Experience Deluxe take you away with their illustrative album "B2."
